About Us

MCNA is as old as England Netball. The County Association was formed in the late 1920's. At the 1st international match against Scotland, Middlesex represented England. Apparently they caught the train to Glasgow, played the match, had a drink and a biscuit and then caught the train back!!!!

Over the years Middlesex has had a number of players selected to represent England, we have also provided England with one of their most successful coaches - Mary Beardwood - bronze medallists at the 1998 Commonwealth Games, bronze meadallists at the 1999 World Championships, Mary also coached the England Under 21 squad to a bronze medal at the 1996 World Youth Championships.
